I like bringing a basic kit to gigs The basic kit:

Stop drumming it’s a repeating reflex. Needs a certain set of forearm strength and then just a bunch of practice. Biggest issue was timing.

I jus did this with a piece of wood and styrofoam with a piece of mouse pad I cut off and wit 3 practice pads that each sound different tones cuz the material and it sounds like a diy dead e kit.
